Artist's Description
An original 1887 Southern Pacific Railroad Depot is the home today of the Santa Paula Chamber of Commerce & Gift Store.
Today the depot is used for filming. "The Thorn Birds," "Joe Dirt," and the 1970s rock group Styx, filmed the music video for their song "Desert Moon" at the Santa Paula train depot.
The restored train station is now part of the Agricultural Museum behind the railroad tracks.
There are holiday trains in the early fall through the end of December.
